Since 2013, Little Paws Rescue has been connecting homeless dogs with new owners to give them the forever home they deserve. We have thusfar helped more than 540 pets find a new home, and we are excited to help you find the right pet for your family to care for and love. We have an variety of small dog breeds to choose from, and we invite you to take a closer look at our dogs today. There's one that's just right for you and your family.
At Little Paws Rescue, we want to help you find and adopt a pet that you will love for years to come. We offer a full range of services before you adopt your pet, so you can get started with your pet without stress or concern. All Little Paws Rescue dogs have been spayed or neutered, are up to date on all shots (including rabies) and have been micro-chipped. In addition they have also had heart worm prevention treatments and dental treatments. All portions of the adoption fee is used to cover all of these services for current and future dogs.
We truly are committed to helping our dogs find a forever home where they will be happy, and because of this, we have strict requirements for the homes and owners that we allow to adopt. Applicants should have a fenced yard, and any current pets must be spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots. We ask that any children living in the home should be at least five years old. Vet and personal references along with home visits will be required.

"Some of you will remember my two little white Terriers, Lucy and Nikki I pulled out of Gurden Animal Shelter 1 year ago. These beautiful girls were both heartworm positive. Lucy found her furever home pretty quick. Katie adopted Lucy and gave her her pre heartworm medications until it was time for her treatment. Lucy had her treatment and went for her 6 month heartworm test re-check.....Lucy is heartworm negative now!! Wooohoooo ! So happy for Lucy and momma Katie!"
